We zijn zo blij met een nieuw product in onze shop loulechien.com ;-) Fantastisch behang van een getalenteerde Ierse ontwerpster Orla Kiely. Ze ontwerpt kledij, accessoires, deco artikelen, bad en keukentextiel, stationary, kussens, allerhande porselein...
De ontwerpen zijn vooral gekend voor haar kleurrijke grafische 60's patronen met een leuke retrotoets. 
Ze maakt van dagdagelijkse gebruiksvoorwerpen zoals een tuinschep, keukenhandoeken, bedlinnen, bloempotten, keukensschort, handtassen, enz... fantastische eyecatchers... een plezier om in huis te hebben... 

Kate Middleton en Kirsten Dunst zijn trouw aan Orla's Kiely's kledij en dragen regelmatig een jurk of jas van haar hand.
Orla Kiely heeft ook een reeks behang in haar gekende patronen ontworpen en vanaf vandaag zijn deze online te verkrijgen in onze shop!

Bakker made with love is produced by the french couple David and Valerie Bakker and their family. The brand offers a colourful and playful collection, that mostly were handmade in Bali in small quantities.

Isak is a Scandinavian design brand creating retro infused home accessories

These cups are handleless and can also be used as small storage jars. The oak lid will keep in the warmth and keep out the creepy-crawlies. A pair of porcelain cups in the Leaf design with oak lids in a presentation box. 9cm tall, 8cm in diameter at top, 6cm at bottom.

Although she prefers using traditional techniques, she enjoys experimenting with new ones regularly to try and inject more soul into her illustrations. The first time I’ve visited London .. I fell head over heals in love with the “Orla kiely” label.

Now these days my home looks almost like an “Orla kiely” shop ;-)

Orla Kiely is an Irish fashion designer based in London. She is described by The Guardian as “the Queen of Prints”

She first started work on hats, but soon moved into design work on handbags.

Her designs have since been used for a variety of other objects, including kitchenware,stationery, furniture, wallpaper, and a range of cars. 

Her fashion line has been seen on actresses such as Kirsten Dunst and Alexa Chung.

She has been awarded the title of Visiting Professor of Textiles at the Royal College of Art. Design work.
